Clip of new video work Agony of Perceivedness

Parts from combustion engines that are usually unseen, are cleaned, oiled and made to dance across the screen. This work is a peek behind the curtain of mechanised technology.

The title is taken from the script of the only film that Samuel Beckett ever made titled Film. In Film, the characters are pursued through the streets of New York by the camera. When they are ‘perceived’ by the camera, they suffer great agony and are destroyed.
